Main purpose of the role:,
Ensure the store€,,s stock management process operates efficiently and effectively at all times and to conclude any other duties as directed to you by the Store Manager.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
€ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
€ Excellent communication skills
€ Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
€ Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
€ Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties:
€ Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative
€ Forecast orders correctly at all times during the trading year (particularly at seasonal times)
€ Effectively co-ordinate the ordering for the ambient categories in store using the technologies and processes available
€ Maintain the back-store layout effectively
€ Merchandise and present the store to the highest standard at all times
€ Manage promotional activity effectively in store including - ordering, merchandising and reporting on the value add of the promotion to the store manager
€ Understand the sales versus stock holding and the impact this has on margin and cash flow.
